DepartmentsThe Engineering Management Dept. of Huachen International Hotel was founded in August 2002. At present, there are 27 staff members. Mr. Xin Fengling, a senior engineer, is the director of the Department. He used to be the director of engineering dept. of Meiyuan Hotel and Huachen Grand Hotel and is experienced. Led by Mr. Xin, the management of the Department has made great progress and is reputed both in and out of Zhejiang Province.
Energy saving management(1) Management Measures
The Hotel has set up a complete energy-saving management system mainly including energy-saving organization, energy-saving management measures, specific energy-saving measures and energy consumption assessment and energy-saving incentive meth
(2) Measurement Equipment
Based on the existing equipment, pipes and lines, we have added meters for water, electricity and oil and read them and do statistics regularly. By doing so, we can learn the usage of these energies at anytime. Once any abnormity occurs, we can examine and handle the cause of the malfunction so as to reduce the waste of resources.
(3) Power Saving Technology
We have fitted transducers on all large-power electronic equipment. Seventy percent of the lighting is used energy-saving bulbs. The lobby uses auto (manual) light controlling technology to control the brightness of the light according to different times and areas.
Green environment1. We have fitted water-saving sensors in the staff bathrooms, which can save 60 tons of water monthly. The goal of saving water is not to control the water consumption of the staff but let them be aware of using water rationally so as to avoid waste.
2. Green plants are available for each guestroom of the executive floor and non-smoking floor.
